Happy New year 2007/2008

I can't believe its 2008 already! Time seems to move WAY faster the older you get.
I remember like it was yesterday when the calendar year changed to 2000. And back then if you thought ahead to the year 2008 it seemed like a reality that would never happen but low and behold here it is.

Well the votes seem to be unanimous that this was the best New Years Ever.
We first started the evening off using our new Fondue pots ( a present from the Creasons for Christmas) with just our family, just as we started to sit down out went the power. We were really happy our meal wasn’t interrupted it just set the mood even more so. The boys thought it was the coolest thing to cook their meat in the fondue pot.

After we got cleaned up Jamie, Kathy and family came over to have snacks and the kid’s real favorite .......a chocolate fountain
We played games and waited for the year to change over.
After the count down, everyone went over to the restaurant to dance.
Chad wasn’t feeling good so he fell asleep about 10 o’clock
The girls thought they would take advantage of their father’s sickness and danced until 230 in the morning.
The funny thing about this is their friends Danni and Tony are 18 and 21 and their father has an even closer watch of them, He came over to the restaurant to get them and he makes them carry a 2/way radio around Paa Mul.
So now our girls feel lucky their dad isn’t as strict as theirs!
